Neck Brace, also known as a cervical collar or C collar, is a medical device specially used to support a patient’s neck and spinal cord and to immobilize the neck and head. Intended for short term use, cervical collars are instrumental in the recovery process to facilitate healing, avoid reinjury and reduce pain. Medical conditions that require the use of cervical collar include serious injuries, neck surgery, neck stiffness, cervical spondylosis and nerve compression.

PRODUCT USAGE
It’s important to wear a neck brace properly to avoid further injuries. The neck brace should be tight so that you can’t move your head. Before starting to apply the neck brace, ensure that your shoulders, neck, and head are supported by a hard surface. Open the sides of the front panel outward and push them around your neck. Then place the back panel on the back of your neck. While holding the front panel with one hand, carefully attach both sides of the back panel to the front with the straps.

FAQs
Are there any side effects to wearing a neck brace?
If you are using a neck brace for a long time, it may cause weakening and stiffening of your neck muscles. Talk to your doctor about how long you need to wear it.
Can I sleep in my neck brace?
Yes. But remember that you have to keep your neck in a neutral position and aligned with your body. Also, make sure that your mattress offers good support and try sleeping on a thin pillow, to reduce pressure from your neck.
How do I take a shower in my Neck Brace?
We recommend taking a bath over a shower. You can bathe as you normally would, but try to keep your neck brace dry.
How should I clean my Neck Brace?
You should clean your neck brace every day to prevent bacteria growth. Skipping cleaning of your neck brace will allow bacteria to grow and can lead to skin irritation. You can wash your neck brace in lukewarm water with mild soap. Do not use detergents, because they can cause skin reactions.
