FAQs
What is ‘spunlaced’ non-woven material?
Spunlacing is a method that entangles the fibers to give strength. Softness, drape, conformability, and relatively high strength are the main characteristics that make spunlaced products unique among all nonwovens.
What is an ‘antiseptic’?
It is a substance with antimicrobial effect that inhibits the growth and development of microorganisms. Antiseptics can be applied to living tissue or to the skin to reduce the possibility of infection, sepsis, or putrefaction.
Why single-use?
When used properly, antibacterial wipes can be effective at killing the bulk of bacteria on a surface. However, when the wipes are re-used, utilized on multiple surfaces, or dragged across a long surface, they can actually transfer bacteria. Since the wipes eliminate most bacteria, the remaining bacteria can quickly multiply without any competition, colonizing surfaces which were swiped with the wipe. Ironically, using an antibacterial wipe can actually cause bacteria to spread
Which antiseptic does StayGuard™ Baby Wipes have?
StayGuard™ baby wipes contain Benzalkonium Chloride which is a common non-alcohol based active ingredient used for clinical, food line and domestic household biocides. It is an organic salt and it has three main categories of use: as a biocide, cationic surfactant and phase transfer agent.
How should StayGuard™ Baby Wipes be stored?
To ensure the wipes do not dry out, close the packaging firmly after use to retain moisture. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.
Why StayGuard™ Antiseptic Baby Wipes?
They are versatile single-use and alcohol-free wipes used to clean the sensitive skin of infants. In addition, this product is ISO, CE and USFDA certified, which makes it the best option for infants and babies.
