A Cotton Swabstick is a piece of 100% medical-grade cotton tip at the end of a plastic or wooden applicator stick. Cotton swabsticks are an inexpensive solution for all medical procedures where there is a need to apply liquid, cream or ointment to a wound or a burn. Our swabsticks are also used to take microbiological cultures or to take DNA samples in laboratories.

PRODUCT USAGE
StayGuard™ cotton swabsticks are most commonly used in clinics, hospitals, and households. Available in retail stores as well, cotton swab sticks are used by consumers to clean the ear canal and to remove earwax, despite this not being a medically recommended method for removing earwax. However, they are also used for applying and removing makeup, cosmetics, and ointments, as well as for household uses such as cleaning and arts and crafts.

FAQs
What are StayGuard™ cotton swabsticks made of?
StayGuard™ cotton swabsticks are made with 100% pure cotton which can be sterile or non-sterile. The applicator can be wooden or plastic and there are different sizes.
How long can I keep StayGuard™ cotton swabstick products and what’s the best way to store them?
We suggest you to keep the cotton swabstick in a cool, dry place away from direct light and humidity. When stored properly, our swabsticks should last for many years.
Why you should not use it to remove earwax?
Trying to remove earwax with cotton swabstick can disrupt the natural cleaning process by pushing wax further into the ear. In addition, by inserting any objects into your ear you could be introducing germs, and puncturing your eardrum.
What is the difference between wooden and plastic shaft on a cotton swabstick?
A wooden cotton swabstick is more firm, whereas a plastic cotton swabstick allows flexibility in its application. Also, plastic cotton swabsticks are more environmentally friendly.
