Common conditions where elbow braces are prescribed include: post-operative elbow surgery, elbow reconstruction, ligament and tendon repairs, fractures and mild to severe elbow injuries requiring short-term stabilization.

PRODUCT USAGE
First, set the control knob to the unlocked position and remove the stops from the brace hinge. Then, open each strap and put your arm in a brace. Make sure that the hinge and control knobs are positioned on either side of the elbow joint and aligned with the crease of the elbow. Carefully secure each of the straps in the following order: wrist, shoulder, forearm, and bicep. If pain, swelling, or numbness occur, contact your physician.

How long should I wear my elbow brace?
The patient should discuss the wearing schedule with the physician who prescribed the brace.
If my elbow brace gets dirty, will I be able to clean it?
Yes. First, remove all hinges, clips, and metal splints. Then close all straps and fasteners and hand wash with mild soap in lukewarm water. Rinse well and air dry. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean, or use fabric softener or bleach on the brace.
How do elbow braces provide support and stability?
They combine compression, all-around padding, and lockable hinges that can also be set in a way that you are free and comfortable to move, but within a specific range of motion. The hinges act almost like emergency stops, ensuring you won’t put the elbow joint into a position that is unhealthy for your condition.
