Eye pads, also known as eye patches, are small and sterile pads specifically designed for absorption of secretion from the patient’s eyes. Eye pads typically consist of multiple layers of absorbent materials and can quickly and efficiently absorb tears, blood or other fluids caused by accidental injuries, diseases, or ophthalmic surgery.
STAYGUARD™ IS THE BRAND OF CHOICE
StayGuard™ brand of Eye Pads is uniquely positioned as the brand of choice for medical professionals with distribution to both developed and developing markets. Made with best-quality medical-grade materials, our Eye Pads are ISO, CE, and USFDA certified. They are easy to apply, extremely absorbent, and hypoallergenic. Eye Pads prevent infection by stopping any foreign bodies from entering the wound and are ideal to include in your first aid kit. Eye Pads are also widely used in clinics and hospitals as post-operative dressings after eye surgery, cataract operation, corneal ulcer, and dressing after an eye injury.
PRODUCT USAGE
Wash your hands before the medical procedure and make sure that the patient is positioned properly under sufficient lighting. Eye Pad should be applied after the wound has been initially washed and disinfected. First, carefully apply a piece of the adhesive tape to the eye pad and ask the patient to close both eyes. Then, slowly position the eye pad diagonally over the closed lids of the affected eye and tape firmly, but gently, to the forehead and cheek.
