FAQs
Why use StayGuard™ gauze ball?
Our gauze balls come with various options, and are only made of high quality cotton. They are ISO, CE, and USFDA certified.
Why would I need to choose gauze ball over normal flat gauze swab?
Gauze balls show higher absorption than flat gauzes. If you need highly efficient gauzes, our StayGuard™ gauze balls would be the right choice.
What are the storage requirements?
You could see the maximum shelf life of gauze balls if you store them in a dry, clean, and well-ventilated area with humidity below 80%.
What is the difference between gauze roll and ball?
Gauze roll is a medical supply for providing compression to the wound, fixing a sterile gauze dressing in place, and for applying antibiotic ointment to the area of the wound, where as gauze ball is a round cotton cutting for cleaning the surface of the wound, applying antibiotic ointments, and for absorbing body secretions. For example, gauze rolls are used for dressing of the wound, and gauze balls are the pieces of cotton you place in the mouth after tooth extraction.
