Medical Cloth Adhesive Tape is a non-woven fabric with hypoallergenic adhesive, which can be removed easily without damaging the skin. This type of tape is used to anchor tubing and devices, and secure dressings on all skin types, especially fragile skin. Medical cloth microporous adhesive tape is similar in function, but has the additional benefit of having microporous adhesive that makes it more breathable for the wound area.

Our tapes are especially easy to perforate and have long-term adhesion, both important characteristics of a medical tape. Medical-grade non-woven fabric is elastic, resilient, liquid repellent, cushioning, and a bacterial barrier. Available in a wide range of sizes (from 1.25cm to 10cm) and as both regular adhesive and microporous adhesive for increased breathability and repeated taping, this versatile tape is ideal for holding gauze padding over small wounds and can even be applied on damp skin.

FAQs
How is ‘non-woven’ fabric better or worse than woven fabric?
StayGuard™ medical cloth adhesive tape is made of non-woven fabric, and this enables the tape to be excellent in sophisticated filtration and protect the wound from the external pathogens or contaminants. Non-woven fabric is less stronger than the woven fabric, but this enables the tape to be light and be easy to tear. This makes our cloth tape an economical and an efficient choice for surgical dressing.
Can I stick the tape right on top of my wound?
StayGuard™ medical cloth adhesive tape, especially microporous tape, is a ‘breathable’ choice of tape, allowing air to reach the wound. However, it does not mean you stick the tape right on the wound. With the proper gauze padding, or other suitable dressing material, our tape will fix the dressing in place and aid in airflow by having micropores on the adhesive.
What is the difference between StayGuard™ Medical Cloth Adhesive Tape and StayGuard™ Medical Cloth Silk Adhesive Tape?
The first obvious difference would be the material: cloth adhesive tape would be made out of cloth, and silk tape would be made of silk-like material. However, one would choose silk tape over the normal surgical cloth tape when the tape has to be more durable and stronger. Also, silk tapes are better for dry skin, and cloth tape works well for damp skin. Both are used for similar uses such as securing dressings, or tubings.
